The 2010 Keeper of the Fire Poker Challenge at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino

The Potawatomi Bingo Casino facility will host the 2010 Keeper of the Fire Poker Challenge this August 2010, with an additional $15,000 dollars given by the casino on top of the cash prize pool if at least three hundred poker players registered for the event.

The massive twenty-table poker room will be the location of three starting days for the poker event-August 14th, 2010, August 15th, 2010 and August 21st, 201, each starting at exactly 10:00 a.m. There will be a 150 player maximum field for each starting day.

Play will be postponed each day once the playing field gets down to forty players and the remaining participants will return on August 22nd, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. to play it out until a champion is determined. Guests may buy into the tournament for up to $550 dollars but the more they participate in cash games at the casino facility up until July 31st, 2010, the less that they will have to pay.

Any poker player that logs-in 100-199 hours of playing time will only have to pay 450 dollars and the cost drops down from there.

If a player plays 200-299 hours, the buy-in is $350 dollars, for 300-399 hours, the buy-in is $250 dollars, for 400-499 hours, the buy-in is $150 dollars and for 500-599 hours, the buy-in is $50 dollars.

If a player plays 600 hours of live poker in the gaming facility before August 1st, 2010, they can enter the Fire Poker Challenge for free. The tournament will have thirty minute levels will all participants starting with 10,000 chips. Blinds will begin at twenty-five-fifty.
