Dennis Phillips to Hold Jersey Logo Auction for November 9th 2008 WSOP Final Table

On October 8th, 2008, the stakes at the Final table of the 2008 World Series of Poker has just gotten bigger. This, year final table chip leader Dennis Phillips will host an auction on eBay for prime logo location on his jersey with all proceeds being donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. From October 16th, 2008 until October 26th, 2008 can bid for a logo placement on the jersey of Dennis Phillips, which will be in prime position as he participates on the final table of the 2008 WSOP.

The event will be shown on November 11th, 2008 to millions of households all over the world, as Dennis competes for more than $9 million. The 2008 World Series of Poker final table is expected to be the most watched poker show in history. Phillips, a staunch supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, is from St. Louis, is from St. Louis, Missouri. He became involved with the society when his brother became diagnosed with MS more than ten years ago. Phillips is sponsored by PokerStars.net and is the favorite to get the title of Main Event champion. He has committed to donate one percent of his final table winning to the "Put a Bad Beat on cancer", which PokerStars.net promised to match in full.

Phyllis Robsham, the president of the Gateway Area Chapter said that they are very happy to be part of such outstanding promotion that will help them continue to move in a world devoid of MS. He added that they are happy with the help of Dennis Phillips because they will be able to continue working with over 6,000 people in their area that has MS.

World Series of Poker marketing and sponsorship director Ty Stewart said that they are very with Dennis' efforts to support charitable endeavors and wish him and the MS society a lot of success on and off the poker table.
