The Pokerroad crew and Joe Sebok will star in the up and coming poker news show on FSN (Fox Sports Net) beginning this November 2009. Joe Sebok, who is the head of Pokerroad, broke the development during the World Series of Poker audio broadcast this weekend and followed it up with a post on his blog on November 8th, 2009.
The poker show is called Poker 2Night and will feature a SportsCenter-style format with Joe Sebok and Scott Huff as hosts of the show. The half-hour long poker show will air on FSN every Wednesday at 11:00 p.m. and will be rebroadcast during weekends. The first episode of the show will premier on November 18th, 2009. Sebok said that they would try to bring as much of the Pokerroad feel to Poker 2Night as they possibly can.
Pokerroad Joe Stapleton will be the head writer and poker player/host Lacey Jones will also be actively involved in the project. Fox sports Net seems to be upgrading their poker programming as of late as they also show the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge, which is hosted by Daniel Negreanu and episodes of the WPT (World Poker Tour).
