Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro Runs into Trouble at the High-Stakes Poker Table of Full Tilt Poker

After taking a short sabbatical from the game of poker earlier this month, Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro continued his return to the high-stakes poker tables of Full Tilt poker on August 27th, 2009. Kelopuro stated in his blog on August 13th, 2009 that he was taking short break from the game of poker.

He wrote that he has been on a break from poker for a few days now. He said that it feels good to not experience the negative aspects of the game even for a while like bad runs and bad beats. He added that do not even remember when was the last time he took a break from playing poker and he should definitely do it more often.

But his recent return to poker is not going as planned. He dumped 3 of 5 biggest cash pots played that night, collectively worth more than $300,000. So far this year, Kelopuro is the biggest loser in the high-stakes online poker circuit.

He is down close to $3.5 million and has been participating with a smaller online bankroll compared with other high-stakes players. It is a decision that he now truly regrets.

Kelopuro wrote in his blog that he have tried to make a comeback in the game from small cash amounts because he do not want to place a large deposit. He then realized that it is not appropriate for the game and it has made him play carefully and indecisively. He added that it is not a good way to play Omaha.

In the world of extreme high-stakes poker games, even a small bankroll can mean millions of dollars. Although this losing poker session is not what Kelopuro had in made when he made his return to the online poker circuit, chances are he is still very far from the end of his rope.
